Darshniks

Darshniks uses three kinds of pictures: illustrations and diagrams drawn for this site, historical artworks and photographs that are in the public domain, and images shared by their creators under Creative Commons licences. Those licences ask for credit, and this page gives it. Many images also carry a credit line where they appear.

If you are the creator of an image here and believe it is credited wrongly or used without permission, please and it will be corrected or removed.

Drawn for Darshniks

The tool pictures, article diagrams, empire cards, thinker banners, meditation illustrations and the homepage emblem were made for this site. Where an illustration shows something real — a stele, a cartouche, an oracle bone — its caption says it is an illustration, and where symbols or writing are decorative rather than real, it says that too.
